I note that after only 6 months of use on my 714 AP2's , the paint on the " iron #' has disappeared on most irons. I used my last set of irons ( 712 AP2's) for much longer and they only bearly lost any paint. I understand "airpalne model enamel paint" can used to freshen up the look of the irons? is this correct.

  2. Hi

I bought a set of 714 CBs about 4 months ago and the paint on my numbers has gone too. I use my clubs a lot (I hit balls every day), but noticed this happened too. From what I can tell it's just cosmetic though and kinda looks cool(?) with just the steel.

    Hi Craig,

Thanks for the note re your 714 irons.  The paintfill in the numbers is purely cosmetic, however it should not be coming off the club.

If you would like to return the clubs to Acushnet Australia via your place of purchase or nearest Titleist stockist we will replace the heads at no charge.

As mentioned, the painfill is purely cosmetic and won't affect the performance of the club in any way.

If you need any assistance locating a Titleist stockist, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer service free call line at 1 800 660 535 or view the Stockist Locator at the top of this page.
