GTS2’s Have arrived!!

It's been 10 years since I have been fit. I am so happy with fitting, live the ball flight and extra distance. I hit the GTS2 driver with 10 degree head and i love the higher launch angle. I also received a GTS2 16.5 degree fairway wood and the ball comes off the face like a missle. Thanks Titleist for the great fitting and experience. #TeamTitleis

Got fitted with Adam Lash at Breakers West a couple of weeks ago. Incredible experience with all of his fitting knowledge and techniques.

Just got them this morning and I can’t wait to try them out! Definitely taking them to Casa de Campo next week!!

620MB PW/ Vokey GW Transition

Hey Team Titleist. Been gaming a set of srxn ZX7 for a handful of years and looking to get back into some more traditional blades. ZX7 are fine but they're a bit chunky for my liking (particularly in the short irons) and launch a bit high -- I've always struggled in the wind and prefer something that helps me flight the ball like a blade.

My questions is related to the blade length of the 620MB PW. I've always played a set PW vs. a Vokey, and I know the 620s obviously have a compact look, but one thing that drives me nuts is when the set PW is way shorter heal to toe than my GW (I play a Vokey 52). Just feels odd for the profile to get smaller as I transition up the bag.

Anyone gaming 620MBs and a Vokey GW and have any insight into the size comparison? I'd imagine Titleist has thought of this but wanted to confirm before pulling the trigger. Thanks!

T100 custom order came in at D0 & C9 swing weight

I’ve been playing and building clubs for a long time, and in my experience a standard swing weight for a player’s iron set is typically around D2.

About a month ago I received a custom set of T100 irons with Modus Tour 120 Stiff shafts, standard length. The entire set measured approximately D0.

I also ordered a custom U•250 Utility Iron with a Graphite Design DI-105 shaft. It arrived at C9.

I reached out to Titleist Customer Service because both orders seemed noticeably lighter than expected. Their response was:

“The Utility iron is targeted at D0, but the lightest it can go is C9 and the heaviest is D1. So, it is calculated within the threshold.”

I understand there are manufacturing tolerances and that different shafts and grips can influence swing weight. However, I was surprised that a custom order could arrive at the absolute bottom end of the allowable range and still be considered fully within spec.

Has anyone else experienced this with recent custom Titleist orders? I’d also be interested to hear from someone at Titleist regarding what swing weight target is typically used for T100 irons with Modus 120 shafts and whether D0 would be considered normal for that build.

I’ve always had great experiences with Titleist products, which is why this response was a bit disappointing.

T200 Real or Fake

I just bought these Titleist second hand and there are some red flags- the quality seems off - the back plates feel loose (not what I would expect from Titleist) and I was looking for the serial number. It looks like the font is off and it’s on the 7i. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Fake GT2? How can I find out if I purchased a fake?

Just purchased a used Titleist GT2 Driver from a PGA professional online (I checked his credentials) but still have a sinking feeling I purchased a fake/dupe. Is there a contact e-mail, phone number, online portal I can use to find out and confirm if it is fake or not?

4 iron is the only club in the set with serial number. Font looks off. Tag says the club heads were made in Taiwan?

GTS4 has arrived

Picked up my GTS4 today from my fitter. Can wait to put it through its paces tomorrow.

Moved from a GT2. Loved that club, but the fitting experience wasn’t great, and the shaft wasn’t nearly beefy enough.

2023 T200 Iron Backing Plate

about a year and a half ago I purchased some t200 irons for around £1.2k, last week I noticed mid round that the backing plate on my 7 iron had fallen off. I've not been able to locate the backing plate so my 7 iron is left looking a state.

First of all I think it's crazy that irons are falling apart after 1.5 years, especially at the price tag Titleist put on their clubs. Second, one quick google and it appear this backing plate has been problematic for Titleist for the t200 and t350 models.

I've tried contacting support a couple of times and I've heard nothing back, this is very disappointing because you're unable to buy a replacement backing plate anywhere.

Really my options are, buy a whole replacement 7 iron and pray none of the other backing plates fall off and get lost, or buy new irons and get a low trade in on mine.

As a long term Titleist customer, I'm very disappointed.

Upgraded 910 D2 to GTS 2

Just ordered my GTS 2 after multiple fittings and testing. Upgrading from a 910 D2! So far, it's given me about a 7 mph uptick in ball speed and 10-15 more yards of carry. The dispersion is great too. I was in the A1 setting in the 910 but I play the driver further back than I should and it is spinnier, about 3500, but "most" everything was in the fairway. Went to the A3 setting in the GTS 2, got my spin down to 2400-2500 average. Shaft also went from the Aldila RIP shaft 60 2.9 stiff to the Tensei 1K pro red. Little lighter and lower kick point to help me square up the face. I did like the new Titan shaft in a 60g stiff and got a little more distance, but the impact feel, sound and dispersion from the Tensei were just a little better, even as I got tired. I did a fitting, then went to another store and tested it out against the QI4D and got kicked out of one bay, moved to an indoor trackman bay and spent another hour in there. Clearly I am picky and need to make 100% sure it's the right move after 15 years. Can't wait to get it out on the course!

GTS Fairways

Assuming the GTS one fairways will be similar to the twos and threes. I wonder how big a difference the technology will be? Currently play the TSR1 18* fairway. I love it off the tee box but cannot hit it off the grass. Have considered a GT1, especially with the lower price, but may be better to wait it out for the GTS1. Opinions?

Still using T300 (2021)

I have upgraded my woods to the GT series, however I really still like my T300’s (2021) series. I have hit the new series (T350, T250) and didn’t see a real reason to change, mine are still in really good shape, so unless I just want to change I’m staying with what I have.

Ready to move on from AP3

So I have played AP3 for a while and they have transformed my game to an extent. Better shot making, better trajectory. The T250 seems to be logical upgrade but very intrigued by the look and feel of T150. How much will I be giving in terms of distance and forgivness. Very hard to gauge off mats.

Got my new GTS2 driver yesterday. Best driver I have ever had. Average 8 yards longer carry. Many drives were 12-14 longer. I play a draw. It seems to draw it easier than my GT2 For all of you that have one on order, I feel you will love it.

T 150s vs 620 CB

I am currently playing the T 150s (2023) and they have been awesome. Definitely enjoy playing them. I have an opportunity to get a set of 620 CBs and was curious what differences people have seen between the two? I'm considering putting the 8-PW as the CB, with the 7-5 being the T 150s (I have a C16 in 4 iron). Any advice is great! I'm currently between a 2-3 handicap and would love to continue to improve my game!

GT/GTS vs TS2

Just getting back into the game after 3 years off with a bad hip. My new hip and I were curious as too the gains to be found in the gt lines of drivers over my current gamer a TS2 10.5 degree. Long time Titleist fan came to the TS2 from a TM SLDR. Got tired of watching knuckleballs with no spin fall from the sky with my SLDR. The TS2 definitely gave me a bump in spin I was looking for. Just curious what else is out there and if any of you have made the jump from the TS line to the GT line and what your experience has been.

Had the chance to demo the GTS2 today. Goodness it felt sweet. Now I am definitely not the greatest so not all of my shots were the best, especially without the chance to tune the driver, but the ones that were good, were good. The club was definitely lighter than the GT lineup, as advertised and I was able to feel it. Comparable to the Qi4D in terms of club speed imo. I do not have the money to buy one anytime soon but here in about 6 years or so I will look into copping one of these! Riding my Tour Edge XCG6 til it dies on me. If you can afford a new gts, and are a huge fan of previous Titleist models, you will not be dissapointed that for sure.

GT1 Performance

I was fitted for a GT1 driver and couldn’t be more pleased. I’m a senior golfer and have picked up distance and accuracy. I recently purchased a GT1 fairway 3 wood and have had the same results. Thanks Titleist!

U505 2-iron

Well I picked up a U505 2-iron this week and put it in play and let me tell ya, I love it! I was looking to use it as a driving iron but found myself needing a 245 club from the fairway of 2 par-5s today and since I put the U505 in place of my TSR3 hybrid, the U505 got put into play a few holes earlier than expected. Honestly, it is a really easy-to-swing club that had a great ball flight and good height even on a toe strike. Only dilemma now, what am I gonna do with the TSR3 hybrid? Ha!
