  1. Hello,

I would like to know with what weight does the 917 brings on Drivers and Fairways; and what's the total clubhead weight with it.

I currently play the 915 Drivers and Fairways with the red 9 gr weight. They come standard with the green 7 gr. So basically I want to know what combination I would need on the 917 line to maintain the same feeling and SW given I keep my same shaft.

Hi Jorge, The 917 driver (using the same shaft as your 915) would swingweight out 1 swingweight point heavier using the same color weight. So if you are currently playing a 915 with a red weight, you would want to play the 917 with the same shaft, length, grip, grip size with a green weight.

The standard bezel weight for a 915 driver with a standard length shaft and stock grip is a red 9 gram weight.

  3. Thank You Cathi. My shafts are +0.25" and all 3 woods and Hy came with the green. After testing I went up to the red on all. Thanks again for your A+ customer care!
  4. This is interesting b/c the new 917 does feel a bit "heavier" as I have the same shaft in it as my 915. Curious to see the difference. Thanks for the post. The 917FW on the other hand is THE best feeling FW that Titleist has produced in a long time. Much better flight characteristics then the 915.
