This past weekend I took my daughter out for a little 9 hole round( i played and she drove the cart/"caddie"). She has her little wedge with us and played around the green while I chipped and putted. We have the snacks and music going. It was alot of fun and cannot wait to go again.

Brings back memories...................First time I took out my oldest daughter she ran around the first green and picked up all the "money" before we even knew what had happened! Luckily my guys had a laugh and we putted from as close as we could remember. She's now 29 and man I miss those days. Enjoy it.

Love this! Nothing better than family time on the course. Keep it fun like you are and she'll keep wanting to go play. All of my daughters play now and it's an absolute blast!

That's awesome! I have 2 young boys and the most we've done so far is hit the range and that was a great time.. Someday we'll be on the course, hopefully..

    Thanks for sharing! Great stuff.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I've been taking my boys since they were about 4 years old each. My oldest, now 8, has started taking lessons and I routinely take him out on the course. Best of luck to you and hope you have many more rounds to enjoy with your daughter.

That is awesome! My guy is 5 and I try and pick him up from school once or twice a week and head to the course. We play putting games, then play four holes - winner buys fries. I lose often... but he is in love with the game and plays in little one holer tournaments.

I also have to caddy the dinosaur toys, but hey, it is worth it!

My fondest memories of the kids! They are 20 and 22 now and are avid golfers today. My son now plays with his coworkers and is a 4 ( still can't beat the old man lol). Just glad I got to pass it along and hope they do as well. Thanks for the flashback

    Louie-
Good Stuff! Keep taking your kids to the Range and Course.
Every little bit of exposure to the game we love will create great memories for a lifetime! I have been taking my son Jack since he was 18 months old...Jack will be 8 this fall. My Daughter is following his foot steps.

    Cheers, Dr. K

Louie, is she filling divots? Way ahead of the curve already! Thanks very much for sharing! Hope this just the first of many happy golf memories to come for you and your daughter.

Rick- Ha yes I did teach her how to fill divots. She thinks its the coolest thing ever. We went out again last weekend and had a blast. Hope you have a great day.

My little guy is 18 months old. Already have him swinging a club (sometimes its at my legs - OW). So far he loves it. I'll slowly ease him into it and if he seems to enjoy we'll get to the course / range down the road. I need a home course first :)
