Purchasing after fittings

    Hello,

    I'm considering doing a Titleist Team Fitting in my area, but I would like to purchase the clubs through a pro at a different country club. He sells Titleist and is on "staff" with them.

    Is it possible to pass my specs along to him or do I have to purchase through the fitter/golf club from which I was fitted?

    The $100 fitting fee is only refunded with a purchase of a fitted item at that site. So, yes, you can take your spec’s elsewhere but be willing to part with a Benjamin.

    The site has made their facility available to the Titleist employed fitter. My guess is part or all of the fee comes to the site as part of the deal with a no-sale. The Titleist fitters are all trained by Titleist and have the widest selection of fitting gear short of TPI.

    Just note, if all he is doing is placing the order, does he deserve as much of the profit as the site that gave you the option of a free professional fitting? Your other option is to let him do the fitting and negotiate the fee for his professional service to buy from him.
