Just like everyone I have loads of golf hats. I recently went to pinehurst and purchased some hats. I sweat like crazy in the summer…does anyone have any tips or tricks to prevent ruining hats (especially the pinehurst ones) from sweat stains?

Was them in the top rack of your dishwasher. They keep the shape and come out amazingly clean!

I do my best not to buy the 100% cotton hats. The models made of polyester do so much better in holding their look after hand washing and dry out really fast. Just a little dish soap and warm water, then rinse and sit somewhere to dry. Will look almost brand new for at least half a dozen washings.

Wipe the sweaty areas down with a wet cloth after every round and they'll last a lot longer. It's when the sweat dries and leaves the salt behind that they get stained. If you wipe them down before that happens you can prevent those nasty stains.

Maybe in Michigan but not in Arizona. The sweat marks are there after the range warm up before even teeing off on the first tee. Something about 115 degrees in July. :)
  6. Where do you get a hat like Peter Malnati had on this past weekend?
A little larger brim than the bucket hat and smaller than the bigger style hats..
    His hat is perfect size.
