I love summer golf out here. The weather has warmed up a bit and all the seasonal residents have headed back north. Rates go down significantly and courses are not crowded. Do you need a place to stay and have the bachelor party too? If so, We-Ko-Pa casino & hotel is a great spot which includes two great 18 hole courses. If just looking for courses, We-Ko-Pa, Troon North, Grayhawk, are all great options in the Scottsdale area. Have fun!

My best man took care of the airbnb, so we got housing already. We have We-Ko-Pa on the list for both courses and probably adding Troon and Quintero. Has anybody played wigwam lately?

Kyle - It's been a few years since I've played Wigwam but the resort was in immaculate condition. While the Gold Course will test you based on length I alway enjoyed the blue course because it was about making shots.

Wigwam is just okay these days. If you have limited time in the Phoenix area and want to experience the uniqueness of desert golf, this is not where you want to go. Any of the courses that border the outskirts of town in Scottsdale, Peoria, Goodyear, Fountain Hills, Fort McDowell along the edges of the mountains will give you the great views and cactus lined fairways that most people expect out here.

Got to play Troon North and stay at the Four Seasons in early January. It was a bit cold but still warmer than Denver. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to get back there.

If you have the time we really enjoyed Quintero. It is a bit of a hike from Phoenix depending on where you are but well worth the drive IMO.

    TPC Scottsdale, Camelback courses, Troon.
  10. Champions course at TPC Scottsdale, Camelback Ambiente, Grayhawk, WeKoPa, all great tracks. So many great options down there. Have fun!
