    Just got fitted for a 917D3 driver over the weekend and ordered it Monday. I'm a huge believer in getting fit for all clubs and being fit outside. When the fitting started I hit my current 915D3 and then was given the 917 to hit. At first it was awful but after a different shaft, Surefit hosel adjustment and Surefit CG adjustment it was amazing. My whole goal was simply improving my accuracy. I didn't want to lose any distance but accuracy was the goal. The improvement was amazing. I hit approximately 15 balls after dialing in the driver and the dispersion was right at 20 yards. I'm a pure Titleist loyalist but of all the clubs I've hit this one needs to be fit more than any. My result from my first swing during the fitting was horrible but the end result was simply amazing. Can't wait to receive this club.

    That is awesome, I just had the same experience a couple of weeks ago. Love my new 917D3. Getting fit for the club is a must, makes all the difference

    The 915D3 didn't work and recently tried the 917D3 but probably didn't play around with the adjustments enough so stayed with the 913D3 as it's very simple and easy to adjust before the round and depending on the course layout etc.

    I was one of the first to get the 917.....driver (D3) and fairway (F3). I've been playing them since October and I could not any more pleased with the results. I was for for both. For the driver, I was out into something I never expected.....Diamana Red, Stiff, 1/2 inch short. I came from a Motore Tour Spec 6.2, so going to the Diamana Red was interesting. To be honest, the distance gain is modest. But the gains I've made in accuracy/dispersion are AMAZING! Reality is I've gained distance by being able to hit it on the line I want. It's led to my first two eagles. The results with the 3wood are even better. Off the deck, from the tee....easily a 10-15 yard game. When I play at my friend's club, he pretty much makes me keep the driver in the bag and play the 3 and I'm usually the longest by a few yards. Talk about intimidating your partners in the casual money round!

    In team play, one of the other brands was doing a demo day on the range...they wanted to me to "break out of jail" with their driver. I gave it a try, the tech could find anything remotely close to my 917s in terms of performance. Without a question, best golf purchase ever on my part.

    I am patiently waiting for a Titleist Fitting to take place in my area. As soon as one is scheduled I will signing up.
