Has anyone played the new Par 3 course at Pinehurst? They also moved and redesigned the putting course Thistle Dhu.

My normal early March group I take to Pinehurst is looking forward to it---but I am going up as soon as I can to play them both.

I was just at Pinehurst from Oct 6-9 but didn't get a chance to play the Cradle or Thistle Dhu. I saw them both and they look amazing. In talking to some of the staff they are overwhelmed with the way the Cradle has taken off, in that it has been completely booked since it opened. It's $50 but that includes unlimited play, only you can only play once because all the times are booked. Looks really cool.
Thistle Dhu wasn't as busy. I was just there with my wife and kids and they weren't interested in giving it a try. They're used to windmills and obstacles on a putting course.
I would go back to Pinehurst in a heartbeat and would be playing the Cradle and Thistle Dhu for sure.

I was in Pinehurst for the TT Invitational last year and loved Thistle Dru. I would plan a trip back to check out the Cradle and roll some more putts on that circus green

Update: I drove to Pinehurst to meet a friend and played the Cradle. What a great experience! The longest hole was playing 117 that day while the shortest was 51 yards. Replayed it three times---and improved each time. I went 31-30-29 with a silly three putt on #9. It is something you need to go and play.

I did not play the Thistle Dhu. It has been woven into the large putting green behind the clubhouse---and had a few groups on it. It looks spectacular.
