Did you find a new wedge to add to your bag ? I am curious if you noticed a difference from the older wedges to the newer models. I understand there is a new grind or two available as well ?
  3. Hi Darious, sorry late responding, I don't come on here every day.
It was a typical Team Titleist event. Lots of swag, an hour with Jordan at the chipping green, then a golfball fitting with Matt, and then a wedge fitting. I am trying to remember the person's name. I apologize, he was excellent. Part of the cost of the day included a new wedge. There were 5 of us in the group, and at least 2 of them purchased more than one. For me, I just purchased new irons, and I purposely did not buy a gap wedge with the set, as I knew I was getting an SM11. For my gaps, I wanted a 46 degree that only comes with an F grind. I hit 3 balls on the range absolutely perfect, so there was no point going on. My fitting took maybe 15 minutes. Then they treated us to lunch in the 2 Brothers Restaurant. It was a fabulous day.
Only downside, is that my wedge has not arrived yet. I have a gap in my game for 6 weeks where I am trying to compensate with my sand wedge and pitching wedge. It is not ideal, but my new wedge should be here any day.
  4. Hi Darius, I currently have an SM10 60.06 K grind in my bag. I purchased a 46.10 F grind. To be truthful, I can't tell the difference between grinds. Bounce yes. Grind, no. Chipping is the best part of my game, since I play to about an 8 index and hit the ball off the tee maybe 175-180. So my wedge play has to be really good.

Hey Brad, thanks for posting this. I’m actually going to the Team Titleist wedge clinic on Monday and I’m pretty excited — it’ll be my first Team Titleist event. How was it overall? Anything you’d recommend bringing or anything that surprised you about the day?
  6. Sorry Josh, I only come in to this site maybe once or twice a week, so I am just reading your question now.
Hopefully, you had a a great day. Titleist is awesome when it comes to hosting these events.

Hey guys silly question but did you get any other emails after registering prior to the event? My short game camp is in two weeks and it seems like at this point I just show up at the course based on the time listed on the website, thought there may be some sort of communication given I registered back in March. Looking forward to the event as it's my first time!
  8. Yes, they will send you updates, and a schedule as you get closer to the date. Everything is completely organized and very well run.

I just went a TT wedge fitting event this week and it was an amazing experience. What i wasn't expecting at the wedge fitting event was the group size.. there were only 6 of us. They had 4 titleist reps plus the courses club pro helping with demos and teaching. it was such great care that you nothing felt rushed. we got a ton of time to make sure we were fit correctly and got to try demos of the new product in ALL types of shots to make sure we were in the best fit possible.

End of the day my fit ended up being the same as a wedge fitting i had done at titleist as few years ago in terms of gapping and grinds but they noticed a small thing in my divot pattern on full swings and we played with the lie angle.. I was previously 1 degree flat. We went back to standard and it made a noticable difference. I really enjoyed being able to then take those wedges over to bunkers and different grasses to make sure short shots were not impacted by the change. In most cases i noticed slight improvement or no change but the change for the full shots was worth it! this type of detail and confirmation i had not had before in a fitting. It was awesome and i highly recommend the event to anyone.

As with all things Titleist it was first class all the way
