I’m the opposite. I got fit for the tsi 16.5 summer last year and went Tensei. This last week I was fit for a TSR2 driver and was fit into the HZRDUS CB, which id never have put myself in. However it’s worked a treat and even when I’ve driven poorly like tonight, I’ve consistently put the driver in a good position.

Just got home from my fitting. TSR3 head with Hzrdus Black shaft. TSR2 3 wood with same shaft. Weirdly though, I kill the 5 wood with the tensei blue shaft but not the 3 wood. 3 wood went everywhere. Thanks to Tim Ford with Titleist for a great experience.

Interesting…I was fit into the tensei blue Xlink 65 for my TSr2 three wood, hated the tensei. I just ordered the Hzrdus smoke 70 gram shaft for it, loved those shafts when I had it in my TS and TSi3 fairway woods. I just like the feel and weighting better in the smoke.

I have the fujikura speeder evolution VI in my tsr3 driver, great shaft.

Glad I’m not the only one that didn’t care for the Tensei. Good luck!!

I have not had the same shaft in Driver/3 Wood/Hybrid in many years. Swings are different (especially driver vs others) and I find I am more deliberate with Hybrid over others so I expect part of it is how I load the shaft in the transition. There are so many variables (especially in my swing! ;-) ) - I just trust my fitter who has known me and my swing for years.

I am a firm believer in the fitting process, and I always get fit for these clubs separately, so I spend time with finding the optimum shaft once we have determined the version of the club.

I also had a Titleist fitting yesterday
TSR 2 Driver Blue Tensei Stiff Shaft, 11 Degree
TSR 2 4 Wood Blue Tensei Stiff Shaft, 16.5 Degree.

Absolutely love how the clubs look and feel just can't wait for them to come now .

Actually pretty common to end up fitted with different shafts in the driver, fairways, and hybrids.
