  1. Does anyone know if Titleist is going to run any promo's this Holiday season on golf balls? I usually try and buy my supply when this happens.

  2. They typically have the buy 3 get 1 free in early spring. The only promo that I've seen is free personalization on balls.

Yeah, if you are looking for a deal, the Loyalty Program is a good one just after January or so.

Only promo upcoming is probably $39.95/dzn for premium balls (Pro V1, Pro V1x, AVX). That usually happens right after Thanksgiving. Buy 3 get 1 free is in the Spring, as previously mentioned.
  5. Amazon has most models on sale right now (November 24th) for Black Friday, including Pro V 1 for 39.95. I'm not sure how long the sale is on for.

Was all set to order some dozens of ProV1’s from Titleist with custom no. and personalization. Then saw that all the major online stores (TGW, PGA Superstore, etc) are selling them (with custom no. and personalization) for $5 less per dozen. That’s significant savings. Wonder why Titleist is charging more as no middle man?

Titleist has always had a policy to protect their dealers by not cannibalizing their sales. I'm sure that is a factor. Unlike like the other OEM's, you can't buy clubs direct through Titleist, not even from TPI fittings. The My Titleist store is the first break for that, and it is mostly lower-volume items many sites wouldn't carry in inventory to display to golfers. If you don't live near one of those retailers, it's not a severe up charge for direct service to your home. ....Also makes it easier for your wife to p/u at a store along with tees, etc than to have you find the box on the doorstep. ;-)

I guess it's no different than any major manufactory who gives their authorized retailers some cushion to rep a sale as they push a product.
