Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

Most recent would be the opening tee shot this past Friday. Wisconsin courses finally opened back up and it was a surreal feeling being out on the course during these challenging times we are facing.

The best shot in recent times isn't this year recent, it was last year. A 167 yard par 3 with the hole situated behind a greenside bunker. A slight left to right breeze and slight elevation to the green. As it turned out an ace was recorded for the hole, the pro v 1x had alot to do with it doing what it was designed to do. Have been playing the 1x and will continue to play it.

Will be my next one...after my operation and be in a wheelchair for over 2 years I should be back playing the first of next year..the corona virus set me back on my therapy.so I keep working at home..I am getting closer I can smell the fresh cut grass in the fairway..
  7. Welcome back to the game and I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy many rounds of golf after your recovery.
  8. Hang in there! Praying for a swift and complete healing. I’ve got 3 bone on bone vertebrae in my low back and my right knee is bone on bone. Before my injury my last two rounds were 65,66. Hopefully they were not my last 2 rounds

  11. My 2 best shots with Pro V1x we’re sticking it in the jar last year for my first ace on a 154 yd par 3. My second was driving it on a 326 yd par four and sinking a 30 footer for a two
  12. My favorite shot actually happened to be my 2nd hole-in-one. The pro at the course just so happened to join us for the round and on the 6th hole, (152 yard par 3) playing a ProV1X, I flushed my 735cm 8 iron and the second I hit the ball I made the comment that I had finally hit a golf shot. A few seconds later the ball hit in the cup without ever hitting the green (jarred it).

I was on the 7th hole at my home course, which is a very steep downhill par 4. I pulled my drive just a touch and it was in a little part of the fairway that was blocked out by a tree, so I couldn't go for the green head on. Pin was back right, I had like 160 in, but downhill so I hit like a 9 iron. I hit about a 40 yard draw around the tree and stuff it to 6 feet. Of course I missed the birdie putt, but I was lucky to escape with par.

I've had four holes in one, all with a Pro V1. It's been six years since the last one and I'm still playing them hoping for number five.

I would have to say it was my 3rd Hole-in-one. It was with my trusty ProV1x which is now displayed on the desk next to the DT and AVX from the first two.

  17. Your display is really nice. Where did you get that done?
  18. Eagle Crest in Central Oregon?
  19. Nice trophy case, where did u get it?
  20. Where did you get your ball display as I had my first hole in one and like your display! Thanks.

Played the last 4 holes on the Old Course in 2 over par. Not being a single-digit handicap, that would be my best 4 hole stretch, ever. I've forgotten my total score but walking off of 18 will last a long time. On hole 1, having gotten to the tee with 4 minutes to spare, I had a pitch shot across the burn and sculled it into the rock face. So I have my St. Andrew's Pro-V1 with "a piece of the rock" embedded in the cover.

Best shot as in the best-stuck shot? or the best outcome?
The best outcome, was a hole in one last year.

Hole #6 at LW Clapp golf course it's a 396 yd par 4 uphill tee to green, I was 131 yards out hit a 9 iron & holed it for an eagle. That's the only Eagle from the fairway I have ever had, no hole in 1's either. So I was pumped about it.

Sadly haven't made a hole in one yet, but the best shot I've ever hit so far with a Pro V1 was last summer on a Par 5. Had around 275 into the center of the green for my second shot. Pured my 3 wood with a nice draw on it right into the green. Knocked down a 15 footer for eagle.

Don't be too sad about the HIO. It will come when you least expect it. I played 30 years without one and then got my 3 in 2 years. Only the second one was right on line with the stick. The third one looked way off and then took a crazy bounce on the front of the green. It's a crazy game. Have fun out there.
  27. Best shot was at Racebrook Country Club. Par 4 that was short but narrow with super hilly greens. Good driver about 250 and hit a wedge on the green surrounded by false fronts and deep bunkers...ball 2 hopped checked and rolled in the cup for eagle! I tried playing it off all cool but had the goofiest smile on my face. Love me a good responsive wedge and a clean prov...none more dynamic a duo
  28. Racebrook in CT?
  29. Last summer in an outing, one inch from the hole which would have been my second hole in one!

My 3 holes in one not withstanding, the shot I remember most was a few years ago on the 12th hole, 415 yard par 4 at Essex County Club(MA),second shot. The drive is blind and uphill, woods on both sides. The second shot is downhill slightly, straightaway.Just before the tree line on the left is the ladies 12th fairway (it's a sharp dogleg left par 4 for the ladies).I pulled my drive left. I was short of the trees, but in the middle of the ladies fairway, about 20 yards left of where I needed to be to get clean look at the green.

Going over the trees wasn't an option; I was too close. I could punch out, or try a vicious hook, actually aiming for the right trees, hoping to turn it. I was 160 out, but I figured the shot played longer since I had to play the shot so far off line.I took 6 iron which was a lot of club. I choked up and tried to take something off and turn it hard.

I took my stance, played the ball a little forward, and closed slightly, took aim at 13th tee which was beside the 12th green beyond the trees on my right...and prayed. The ball took off and didn't do much early, and then really hooked at the end.I ended up on the very left edge of the green, 8 feet left and behind the pin.

    Made the birdie putt.
  31. Playing golf with two friends I grew up with after reconnecting via social media after not seeing each other for 40 years.....I asked one on a par 3 what he hit....it was blind elevated green when the caddie said he needed one more...I went to the longer club an 8 iron....when we got to the green it was in for my only ace! What a magical moment with the two brothers......yes one of them took it out of the hole and tossed it to me.....oh well!

My one and only hole in one with a ProV1x using my 735cm irons. Loved that progressive combo set and have thought about trying it again in the future to build my own.
  33. The last shot was the two I scored with my Newport 2.25 on a putting course my daughters put together for my 51st birthday!

  34. Loving the Star Wars theme there!
  35. Without question the best shot I have hit with a ProV1x (only ball I use) was a hole in on an uphill 286 yd par 4 at my club in Connecticut ... with a 3 wood!

Black Diamond Ranch Quarry course hole 6. 189 yards 4 iron in the cup. This is a difficult hole with a wide green but shallow. Every thing slopes to the left. The pin was on the right side behind the grass bunker.

I still can visualize this shot.
  37. A hole in one at Pine Valley (no. 3.) However, it way back in 1984, before there was a ProV -- so it was a Titleist Balata 100 Compression. I still have the ball.
  38. I found a Balata 100 compression that was in excellent shape. Ended up playing it for four holes as a second ball the same round. I used to play the 90 compression. Great ball!

Also found a Balata 100; a range ball at the Pebble Beach Pro Am many years ago. The ball rolled under the fence at the back of the range (polo grounds). Still have it and will upload a photo later.

  41. No holes in one. But had a 255 yard 2nd on a par 5. 3 wood that cut over water, landed softly and rolled up and hit the pin. Unfortunately didn’t drop, it png off the stick to 6 inches. Easiest eagle putt I’ll ever have
  42. Just yesterday at Woodhaven Country Club in Palm Desert, CA. The 17th hole its a par 5, hit a good drive and had 258 to a back pin over water. Hit my 3 wood the best I think I have ever hit it. baby draw to the back left pin and my ProV1 ended up 3 feet from the pin. Yes, I knocked it in for a 3!!! Love my Titleist!!! :)
