My favorite Titleist golf ball is the Pro-V1x left dash. It is so forgiving and less spinny for my swing.

Pro V1 and Left dot. I do like the cally Chrome Tour. I use Triple Diamond when it’s windy to combat the spin!

For the last 5 orders of ProV1's placed direct from Titleist.com every dozen (probably 20 dozen total) over the last 8-10 months have come from Ball Plant 4 in Thailand. Just find it odd since I'm on the East Coast in the US and they ship from New Bedford. Not saying there's a difference in quality, but why are they shipping balls from Thailand to the US when they have the biggest plant here domestically?

The Left Dash is a great ball and is one that is best for my game. I would recommend giving a true try-out and see how if fits your game. I like to 9 holes with both balls hitting from the same spots and clubs. Which has the desired flight, stopping power, better dispersion, etc.. For me it's the reduced long-game spin and the trajectory. It didn't take long to adapt to the firmer feel, but that gets easier when your in more fairways and hitting more GIR's!

Has anyone compared the left dash to the normal ProVx? I’m trying to find a ball that maintains flight and distance but also has great spin or stopping ability around the greens. I also don’t want it to feel like I’m hitting or putting a “rock” though.

Thank you for this information. I too hit the ball close to that distance. Maybe not as far as I was able to a few years and surgeries ago, but it does still somehow manage to get out there. I will give that ball a try once I finish up current supply of balls.

My dentist and his son who are scratch golfers swear by the left dash. They love the distance and stopping on the greens. His son hits the ball 300 plus.

Sounds like a daft question, but if the point of marking it is to help you identity your ball then you'd have to mark it in such a way that it was likely that you'd know your ball regardless of how it had landed eg deep in the rough so you can only the top of the ball. In that case putting multiple lines round the ball might work but putting just a single mark on one side wouldn't.

Or do you mark your ball ever so lightly so that if it is in the deep rough you get an opportunity to take it out to identify it and then put it back in a slightly better position?

Increased sales will always happen but profit is the key. They would have to sell more than the cost of mass production and excess inventory left over by not selling all that are batch produced.

Guess after I get custom numbers for yellow Pro-V’s.

The plant is running 3 shifts. If the plant had capacity and this would increase sales, they would consider it The marketing department will watch the space carefully. Just like a yellow Pro-V years after the competitors.

The good news is Ball Plant #4 is not a contract vendor Owned and operated by the same team that runs #3. They use the same molds and materials. That #4 balls are being shipped from headquarters can help explain more custom requests like single number yellow or (…God forbid….) orange or split color Pro-V’s get little traction. I’ll guess other major vendors have more spare capacity.

Can't wait for a yellow ball version with alignment., even more a TT logo ball with alignment, and the piece de resistance would be both a yellow with alignment! As our eyes age, the yellow is a necessity and I feel shortchanged :)

i just received my 4 boxes of the ProV1 AIM Enhanced golf balls. these balls are better than i thought they would be. alot better than having to draw a line on every ball. Great job Titleist.

My guess is they stocked up more than normal, producing as many as possible from both locations to handle the huge surge they always get during the “buy 3 get 1 free” period. That way they could concentrate on special number orders and such from Ball Plant 3. Just my guess as Titleist employees usually will not make posts on the forum that are specific to company policies or processes.

Just want to give my praise to the trufeel golf ball. It’s like a cheat code for certain courses when I need a ball that flies a little higher.

Just wondering if anybody has a favourite Titleist ball, and why?

No Charlie, USGA Rule 7, specifically 7.1 through 7.4 covers searching, identifying, lifting, or moving a ball.
