I’ve been playing stiff shafts in my drivers, fairways, and hybrids, and light stiff steel or steel fiber in my irons for years. At 65, I feel I should get a shaft between S and R for my next driver. I don’t have a chance to do a fitting for a while, so I was wondering which of the stock shafts might fall between S and R. My club has demos that I might try until I can get to a true fitting.
