Dale V. said it best; try and hit both if you can. I've hit the TS3 in a simulator and liked it. I too have a relic for a driver (910-D3 Project X-8 stiff) and it's tough to take out of the bag. I really like the size and shape of the TS-4. Although I haven't hit it, I've heard the ball comes off with dead spin, which creates a ball flight like a knuckleball, unless you can generate some serious club head and ball speed.

To emphasize Dale's comment, the TS4 is intended for a small number of players that can't achieve a low enough spin with a T3. Appearance is not a priority in deciding between the 2. Titleist expects most players to achieve optimal success with the T2/T3 versions. The folks at the opposite ends of the bell curve may do better with the TS1 or TS4. In my case, I'll see if the TS1 will gain me enough yards to move from a TS2.

TS3 is more adjustable with the weight cartridges to fine-tune trajectory, spin, launch angle, center of gravity, etc. While the TS4 is less adjustable with just the forward weight to lower spin & hit a more boring, controlled trajectory.

While the TS4 will give you the smaller size you desire (440 vs 460) it will have reduced spin so you might consider hitting both at a Titleist Thursday fitting if you can find one near you or look for a demo day. Really need the TrackMan data to ensure the head and shaft combo are best suited to your swing.
