  1. So every year for Christmas, I ask for Dicks sporting goods or Golf Galaxy gift cards, then go buy my 8 dozen Pro V's for the upcoming golf season. I then mark them up---- lines, numbers, logos etc. (its good golf therapy in offseason ). Anyways after going to 4 DIFFERENT locations, I could only purchase 4 dozen (1 per store, seriously). Anyways I ordered 4 dozen more from Titleist directly so no issue, but I have not run into this before this year. Strange world we live in nowadays

After 105 days my T300 irons arrived. Looking forward to putting them to a test as soon as the weather warms in the midwest

    What shafts did you get?
  4. The most senseless thing I've came across in the supply shortage ordeal is when Titleist reps and customer service says they have rumors of a shipment here or coming in on a certain date. There's no way a company as large as Titleist doesn't have precise logistical tracking on supply, orders, and inventory. They know exactly what they have, exactly what is on order, exactly where it is in production, and exactly where it is in shipping. The only estimate they should have is the delivery date as that truly depends on how they receive their shipments. I've worked in companies that have components coming from over seas and in the states and I knew exactly when and where my product was at all times. That is what is extremely disheartening in this situation, considering the circumstances.
  5. Dale it would be great if I could get answers from the source but they have been less than helpful, couldn’t care less actually. KBS tells me to check with Titleist and Titleist tells me it’s a KBS issue which has just been getting pushed back month after month. My order was put in April 15 with no end in sight. I not heard of anyone with a wait this long, going on for almost a year. I will keep waiting for my order to arrive (hopefully before golf season begins) and keep pushing for answers. I will not cancel my order as I have been a Titleist loyalist for over 30 years and will remain one but I can’t tell you how disheartening this whole experience has been.

Sorry Jim. When we toured the Carlsbad assembly plant a few month's ago, Titleist had just got a large batch of shafts that they actually had to return due to unacceptable quality issues. They did not tell us which brand but the point being, Titleist will not lower their quality standards to fill orders with bad components. For all we know, those rejects were likely sent to another company not so picky and will make their way into someone else's clubs. These are crazy times with huge impacts to the world-wide supply chain. Source manufacturing is problematic and supply chains too. I was at the Port of LA last month and containers are stacked everywhere. Tons of ships anchored off-shore just waiting to load and unload. I guess you are firm on the specific shaft you want? Finding an alternate shaft with similar performance characteristics might be your best bet if they cannot resolve it soon. Fingers crossed that you will be hitting them soon. Stay safe.

Spoke to friends at The KBS Experience and they are still waiting on shafts, so its not really a Titleist issue! Cant build clubs without the shafts.. Patience folks....... Speaking of patience, when and where is the Invitational!!! LoL
  8. Thanks Dale and Todd, it is reassuring that Titleist standards are never compromised by accepting inferior products. I will remain hopeful that KBS will deliver soon and my new irons will get here and the wait will all be worth it. I did look into getting re-fitted for a different shaft but Titleist customer service told me that would put me to the back of the queue so I really don't want to start over again, besides I really liked the KBS shaft. One lesson learned for sure I will buy my golf equipment through my local pro from now on instead of a big box store.
  9. Todd, forgot to ask if KBS gave you an ETA?

This is a question for Titleist or any employees that are on this forum.
Why is Titleist not buying up kbs shafts and others from retailers who have them in stock to help fulfill some of your backlogged orders? Or you should be allowing your reps who have standing orders in the buy the shafts from retailers and you guys eat the difference?
This may not be realistic from your company standpoint and I get it, but at the same time you should not be continuing to accept orders when you know there is no realistic chance of it being fulfilled in any timely fashion.
Now I have had my order in since Sept 11 and still no word, and lots and lots of people have been waiting longer or in the same boat as myself. I get the pandemic has screwed everything up and KBS is partly to blame also, but I am hearing that Alot of the reps are being kept out of the loop and calls and emails are not even being returned.
All of the heat is falling on reps who have to hear all the whining and complaining and no way to give the buyer any concrete answers to our questions. This doesn't seem to be a good way to be running a multi million worldwide company. Other manufactures are facing similar problems I'm sure, but I have always thought of Titleist as being a notch above the competition in every way.
    Guess I am wrong....
    Rant over
I would love to actually hear from someone in the know at Titleist and explain the issues to us from your perspective, I doubt that will happen though. Too bad...
  12. I touched base with my golf shop last week who put my order in where they called their rep at Titleist, they/I were told my clubs are going into production on the 19th (yay today). If this is the case then hopefully I should have my T100S’s and Vokeys within a couple weeks. I’m in San Diego and as they are put together in Carlsbad you’d think shipping wouldn’t take too long either!
  13. Ordered T200s for my son in September and still nothing. This is getting ridiculous.
  14. I ordered a full set of T300 irons with dynamic gold s300 shafts +1 length, custom Wynn grips, in January 2022. No email or anything from Titleist but while researching another package I had coming via FedEx, I came across tracking for my irons and they were shipped from Titleist last week and due to be delivered Thursday. Maybe we're seeing them catching up finally?
  15. Ordered my T-100’s on September 25th with a promise delivery date of end of October. Then updated to November. Then updated to February. In 10 days it will be March and if not delivered by the end of February my order will be cancelled and I’ll find another manufacturer to buy clubs from. If shafts were on backorder (Which they were when I ordered mine) then I wish Titleist had just been honest enough to tell me I wouldn’t be receiving my new irons for at least 6 months.

Where did you get fit? There is no way anyone from Titleist “promised” a specific delivery date. The problem lies with your fitter who gave you poor information and fitted you into a shaft that wasn’t going to be available for the foreseeable future. It’s not Titleist’s fault that shaft oem can’t deliver their goods.

I was just custom fit for a set of T300 irons and the recoil 65 was my top performing shaft, but just by a small margin over the red tensei shaft. I decided the difference was not worth the wait of ordering a custom set with the recoil and grabbed a set from the store inventory with red tensei shafts. Part of the reason is I am impulsive to a fault and wanted to have these before my Pine Needles trip next month, but another reason was reading the posts in this thread.
  18. I just picked up my new Titleist T200’s. 6 weeks from fitting to delivery. Got fit at PGA Superstore. I had ordered them without grips because Titleist did not offer what I wanted. Turns out PGA Superstore cannot get the grips either. Bought the grips at a nearby Golf Galaxy and had PGA store install them. Cost me an extra $80 for grips. That was not my biggest issue, I got fitted for Recoil 95 F3 shafts. Clubs came in with Aerotech i95cw R shafts. I hope that they play similar otherwise why bother getting fit!

Hopefully the steelfibers fit you, personally I think they are the best graphite shaft out there. An upgrade from the recoils.

I have the same Aerotechs on my last 3 sets of irons and swear by them. The regulars play a bit stiffer than regular. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

The good news is you got a very nice shaft upgrade. The "potentiaal" bad news is they play quite a bit stiffer than Recoil due to thair profile. If they don't work out, I think PGA Superstore has a 90 day playability return policy I believe?

Let us know how it goes.
  22. Got fitted for and ordered T200 irons (stock loft & lie), AMT white shafts and GP CP2 Wrap grips on 10/31/21…four months and still waiting. This is getting pretty ridiculous. Honestly, the lack of communication from Titleist as to which parts are holding up the order is what is most frustrating.

  24. I was fitted and ordered my T100 4-PW set Jan 29, 2022 and just got a ship date of 5/17/22 :(

Hate to tell you but I ordered my T100s on October 14th 2021 and still waiting for a ship date!
  26. Any update on these delays?

I just got fitted Feb 24, 2022 and was given a "could be as long as May" verbal but no order tracking or anything at my club. Should I even get my hopes up playing with my specs in 2022?

    T-100S 6-P and T-200 5 Iron
    Loft: Standard Loft
    Lie: Standard Lie
    Dexterity: RH
    Length: Standard
Shaft: Project X Project X LZ
    Shaft Flex: 6.0
    Grip: MCC Align Wht/Blk
    Grip Size: Standard Size

  27. My local pro-shop ordered irons directly from Titlest for me on 11/5/2022 with the following specs:

    4-PW T100
    Nippon Modus Tour 105s
    Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360
    Standard Loft & Lie
    +.25 Length
    D5 Swingweight

I followed up with my local pro-shop for an update this morning and received the following response from the Titleist rep:

Unfortunately we're back ordered on both the heads and the shafts. Heads are expected to come in 4/11 as of now and shafts should be in stock by then, expected for 3/14. As of now, I'd anticipate a late April delivery, but subject to further delays if components don't arrive as anticipated.

Crossing my fingers that I will see the irons by the end of April...

Looks like you fit into the stock shaft with the Project X LZ 6.0- you could just find a store that has them in stock and buy them off the rack. I did the same thing then had shaft extensions added 1/2” to meet my specs
  29. I ordered T100s irons with KBS tour 90 shafts the 2nd week of Sept. 2021. After talking to my fitter a couple weeks ago I found out that we had to change the order from KBS shafts to AMT black. Apparently Titleist has those shafts available but the heads are waiting to arrive. Luckily there is still snow on the ground but golf season is coming soon and I have little hope of these arriving. Titleist and other manufacturers need to sort this out. To take peoples money for orders and have a potential 7-8 month lead time (fingers crossed) is wrong IMHO. Crazy times I know but this is getting ridiculous...

    Ordered T100s 4-PW Project X LZ 6.5 add 1/2” on 2/28/22

Does anyone know current status of shafts/heads being backordered? Ordered from Golf Galaxy with an estimate of 8 weeks but I’m seeing some horror stories on here with delays. Would it be possible or even make sense to order without grips to speed up delivery?
  31. Just got an update on my t100s, heads are back ordered till 6/13 I was told.
That makes my wait time 18 weeks total...
  32. After six months of waiting my (ordered 23rd Sept 2021) my clubs finally arrived :)

    Order details:
T100S 5 iron through to gap
    Vokey SM8 54 and 60 degrees
All with AMT Tour White X100 shafts

All the best for everyone waiting on their gamers to arrive

    Cheers
    Rob
  33. I don't see the point in ordering anything from them at this stage. I'm giving them another couple of weeks before I will cancel as so many others have.

82 days since I ordered and they were quick to take the $. Since then - no update, no expected delivery date, no anything at all; and there are many in worse shape than I am.

These conversations have been taking place on this (Titleist's) forum for weeks on end, and no one from the company has bothered to offer any kind of information to the group. They'll sell you all the 'TT' bs you can handle, but when it comes to actual customer service you definitely ain't on their team.
