Have received my share of accessible TT swag by attending the TT Invitational events. Part of the registration packages and you get to play some awesome courses around the US. Stay active on this site and when the announcements are made, sign up and attend. They fill up pretty fast, because they are some awesome destinations. The event this year is at Bandon Dunes and it filled up in about three to four hours. Think there might be another one sometime in October.

  20. I have been able to play more golf this February here in southeastern North Carolina.
What’s your cutoff temperature for go-no go conditions. Mine is 55° by noon.

When I cannot feel my fingers and grip my clubs. You yankees get more cold weather than we do here in South Carolina. =) Cannot play right now due to back surgery. Hope to be back by April......no worries...it is warm in the house......supposed to be 37*....if there is frost on the greens no play until it melts on every green, down here in Charleston.....

Yes, been playing here in Maryland all winter. 18 days in January and 14 so far in February. I still have another week left in the month to squeeze in 4 or 5 more! Best winter ever for me. Global warming I suppose. Long term, maybe not so good, but for this winter's golf, great!

I have a cart cover and a heater, but frankly, I only use it when the temp is below 40 and or the wind is honkin'. In those 32 rounds so far this year, I have used it maybe 6-8 times. And the heater, maybe 4 times. If the sun is out and the wind is light, I have no problem playing in 42 degrees. Coldest has been about 34*. Used the cover and the heater that day.

I wear a golf glove on both hands in the winter, not for warmth, but because my hands get so dry and cracked that I have no choice. They need protection. I have a pair of those new FJ StaSof winter gloves. They are basically leather golf gloves on the grip side and fleece on the sides/back. They don't really keep my hands warm at all, but at least they work well on the grips. Actually, even ski gloves don't keep MY hands warm. So, when it's really cold, I swing, but I can't really feel my hands. I just trust they are doing what they should be doing through muscle memory. Not ideal, but it's better than not playing. And when I have the heater going in the cart, I can usually warm them up enough to feel my fingers.

Great looking sweetness from Titleist...but I have to ask: Why the pencil? I mean I know their purpose and one with an eraser is nicer but is that really first-class swag? Perhaps I'm just jealous...

    Hey Lance,

Thanks for the feedback. We thought adding a classic golf pencil to our line up would be a nice touch and something that would find its way into use every round. We also thought it was a nice little addition that we could drop into some of our mailings.

Hope that helps provide some insight on the thought behind it.

Thanks as always for being a member of Team Titleist!
