  1. Hey boys! thanks for reading... I'm in between the bigger players 4 plus and the hybrid 5. I don't know which one to go for...I like them both I wish there was one in between the two. I like how the players 4 plus has Titleist Written all the way up the long pocket on the side aesthetically I just wish it had a little more room in the top for getting clubs in and out as I have a fat grip for my putter Cameron... I don't store a lot of things in my bags just balls tees and towels and a brush or 2... let me know what you guys think. is it worth going with the hybrid 5 just for some extra room to get the clubs in and out and how are the full-length dividers, any input?

My suggestion would be that you factor how often you walk while playing versus using a pull cart or renting a big cart. There is almost a 2 pound difference in weight and the size of a large bag on your back might be an issue if you are not a large guy. Lots of big, young guys are probably comfortable with the hybrids but i am even moving from the regular Players 4 to the Players Carbon because even at 61, i still like to walk with the clubs on my back pretty often.

I just bought a Players 4-plus bag in May. I walk about half the time and the bag has been great for both walking and when I ride. I don't store much in my bag as I've learned over the years to pare down to just the things I need. The Players 4-plus has more then enough room for what you mentioned that you carry. At 63, this bag is a perfect match whether I walk or ride.
  4. For what it's worth, I recently had to return my Hybrid 5 bag because the legs would not fully retract and kept hitting me in the back of the legs when i walked. Bummer because I loved the bag!
