It is valuable to remember that the difference in weight from a Players 4 to a Hybrid 5 isn't all that much. I find that the accumulation of 'stuff' in the pockets far outweighs the difference in bag weight. One rule is, the more pockets you have, the more stuff you put in them! Minimize the 'necessary' equipment and eliminate the 'optional' equipment to keep things light!

I picked up the Players 5 bag a few months ago and really like it so far. Most of my rounds are riding so I haven't used it for walking yet. When I am carrying it the straps are very comfortable. It has all the usual pockets for storage and looks great.

I have the Hybrid 5 bag. I love this bag because of the extra space it has over the Players bag. I will add that when I walk, I use a push cart. If I was carrying the bag I would definitely use the smaller, lighter bag.

Awesome thanks Barry was in the local shop today said new Titleist gear comes in sometime in March so i can wait till then . Or might take a trip down to PGA superstore when I’m in Summerlin next month they always have a great selection .

I have the Players 5 and it works great. Don't carry much anymore, but it is light enough for those who do.
Also works well on my Clicgear. Just remove the straps and put it on with the legs facing to the side and the Clicgear strap between the legs and the bag so they don't get damaged. Using mid size grips and no problem with the fit.

Thanks for the reply. Part of the reason I was asking is that it’s tough to really know what works for me when I can only see the bags in-store and not actually use them. I run midsize and jumbo grips, and I’ve heard some bags (like LinksLegend) can be tight with larger grips, so I was hoping to hear from people with real-world experience.

This would mainly be an everyday bag for range sessions, par-3s with my daughter, and something I don’t have to baby, and it would likely be used for about 90% of my rounds as well. I keep my Premier stand bag for nicer rounds. I wanted a Titleist option that can handle light walking if needed but is built more for daily use. Sounds like the Hybrid fits that role well. Appreciate the insight.

That said, my option would be, if you just carry to and from the car to the range or to load on a cart, the Hybrid bags are great for that. If you want to play a full round and carry over your shoulders, the Players 4 or Players 5 are easier for that due to their more compact size.
