I had a rough day at work so I took a half day and decided to go play with my buddy at my old high school course. We got paired up with a single from out of town who waited 45 min just to play with some folks, didn’t have the heart to tell him my buddy hates getting paired up with randoms. So we were friendly and welcomed him to play with us. He began talking how with his luck he’d get his first ace and no one would be there to see it. Literally spoke my luck into existence. My buddy had been there for my previous 2 aces as well.. now he has seen 3 of my 4. Playing from the tips at 165 with the pin up front and a very slight breeze at my back. True yardage around 147-150. I hit pitching wedge directly over the flag, one hop and spun right on back into the cup. The prettiest of my 4.
