Headweight of Futura X5 series putters

    Does anyone know the putter headweight for the Futura X5 series?

    I have read about different weights from different sources.

    I've read 335 g for the head with no weights.

    Then some say 330 g for the head with no weights.

    Then we read that the X5DB is 400g headweight which is 50 g higher than the regular.

    So that means 350g for the X5 but with which weights?

    Sorry for my rambling.

    If I get around to pulling the shaft on my X5r, then I will post a photo and clearly state what the head weight is.

    In the meantime, it'd be great to get a definitive answer.

    I went ahead and pulled the shaft from my X5r tonite.

    I think Carol posted earlier and I can now confirm that the head weight for the X5 series Futura putters is 335 g with no weights installed.

    Far too technical for me. I've been spoiled by the balance and feel of a Scotty. I don't think I can go back to anything less. As the shaft gets longer, SC changes the weight. I've experimented with multiple weights, but I've gone back to the standard pair of 20 g for a 33 inch X5m. The 34's are 15's. The DB putters are weighted at both ends, so I'd expect the either the head or weights to be higher than on the standard style/length putters.

    Never saw the answer here, but does anyone know the weight of the X5 dual balance without any weights in it? I know the site says 50 grams heavier, so would that put it at 385 before adding weights? Thanks!

    If you took their calculations; 335 plus your 50, that would be 385......that would be an affirmative....
