I find sometimes it doesn't matter if it is marked because uou are the only one looking for it.

I pulled a drive into an adjacent fairway. While the other guys in my group were hitting I watched a player walk right up to my marked ball and hit it.
LOL. His ball was two yards in the rough. Not a proV

I mark mine differently each time.
Sometimes my initials
Sometimes "Go Oilers"
Sometimes " Calgary Sucks"

I hit the wrong ball twice last season. I will definitely be marking mine this year. I used to use the logo like my profile but they look crappy after a few holes.

I always order the Titleist buy 3 get the 4th free. It cost a little more but I use 11 and put my initial. It seems easier to pick your favorite number and use a pen to circle the number. I also put my initials in burgundy. Pretty easy to recognize.

i put a purple dot under the S&T then a purple alignment line through the proV1x Marking. i have my name on the ball and under it have the initials of my partner and her kids.

I decided to start marking my Pro V1’s with 2 colors so I’m now putting a black circle with. Large red A completely through it. It’s supposed to represent the anarchy symbol because my game is a bit chaotic/all iver the place some days. Working on consistency and it’s getting better. Regardless, I like the way it looks in the ball.

I go with a putting line extended through the line on the ProV in black sharpie. 2 blue dots to the left of the number for my 2 kids….red dot to the right of the number for my wife.
My golf ball symbolizes my main passions in life….and I always play a Titleist!
Life is just too short!

Two blue dots on either side of the number and a blue line for putting alignment opposite the ProV1 logo. Sometimes, if I happen to pull out the pink Sharpie, I'll also add 2 small pink ribbons as I am a 2X BC survivor.

I always mark my ball with two blue dots, one on each side of the Titleist script. Not very unique, but I've been marking them like this for years and it helps me and my normal playing partners identify it with ease.

I play prov1 and I bought a red and a silver sharpie to mark my ball. I put a heart over one of the numbers in red and my dog, Largo, I write in silver. He is a silver Wiemeraner who was my best friend, and recently passed. I do it to remind me of the love I have for him, a great way to remember my big boy and have a unique marking.

Not particular on color, whatever sharpie maybe handy (usually blue or black) - I fill in the dimple on each side of the number so there is one dot on each side of the number, and then use the golf ball line marking tool and draw a straight line over the Pro V1x for putting alignment.

I do two dots on my pro V1's one on each side of the number. But I stop doing red markers. I have found a few Pro v1's while looking for mine with red dot marking lol.

I keep it simple with a red aiming line on the ProV1x left sash that I normally play. The ProV1’s that I occasionally play have a green line.

Depends...if anyone in my group is using a ProV1 with my number and then I will mark it with a red dot on the right side of the number. Other than that, I don't mark my ball.

I’ve only ever seen another player match my marking one time. Oddly enough it was a srxn Tri-something about a dozen years ago and we both drew green shamrocks on the same ball. I tried not marking a custom number ball, but some haughty member at a club I had just joined chewed me out for not marking a number 50 ball. Seriously…
I now just add 1 green dot and 1 red dot, and carry one ball with just a green dot should I need a provisional. Too often the provisional will track to the first.

I use a stamp to mark mine with my initials.. never seen anyone else with it so its certainly unique

I just put "red dots" on both sides of the ProV1 number, but I have a friend that writes "not your ball" on his which is hilarious when he loses one.

After an eventful weekend i've decided to start marking my ball. I was always too OCD to do this but lets just say I had a heated discussion with a mate.

After hitting a super clean drive, over the trees we couldn't find my ball so I played another. Walking up to the green I found my original ball in the bunker which was about 351 yards. He didn't believe it went that far so now we don't have to argue anymore.

I bought a $12 ball marker with a bunch of accessories off Amazon which I got today. Just doing the normal putting lines like Cam Smith etc use.

Usually I either underline the capital "T" in Titleist or put a cross over the "T" in Titleist.

Seriously (and I hope everyone picked up on my attempt at humor!), blue dot left and slightly below the number and a red dot right and slightly below the number, both in dimples, plus a black line across the parting wave seam on the high side of the ball (hold the ball so you are looking at the Titleist logo; the black line is across the upper half of the parting wave seam).
