  1. If you guys ever get a chance to play at Quiviera in Cabo San Lucas, do it! Some of the most beautiful views that I’ve ever laid eyes on! It was HORRIBLY windy, but we had a blast!

Was fortunate enough to get this one off my bucket list in February 2017 while on a cruise to Cabo. Only regret was playing with that other brand of rental clubs. Wish more courses had Titleist rentals available. Agree, its an awesome course with some ridiculously great views. Glad you had a great trip.
  3. You’re right, Dale! I HATED playing with that “other brand.” I wish more courses would have Titleist rentals as well!

Most likely has to do with who the head pro is on staff with and most are on the other guys brands. Titleist is very selective. I can appreciate that.

I know of many Head Pros at Clubs that have changed back and forth several times with different manufactures. It's usually a decision of the Club GM driven by manufacture's marketing deals. Usually includes rent clubs, range balls, and merchandise in the clubhouse. Company strategy dictates how much emphasis they want to put on this process. Titleist has been moving away from this more and more the last several years. I understand it's expensive to provide inventory for lots of golf courses but the point I was making is that there are very few, even high-end golf resort destinations that still have Titleist clubs available for rent. It's not always possible to take clubs on a trip so having the ability to rent Titleist at the destination is sometimes preferred. This Cabo trip was a great example. 7 day cruise where I wasn't planning to play but had enough time on a day stop-over so jumped in a cab and played. Best course in Cabo and only TM available. Heading to London in October on business. Taking a short side trip to St. Andrews. They rent only Caly so fortunately found a place in town that will rent Titleist. If its just a golf trip and i am playing multiple times, yes, i will take my own. It's just nice if the location has the Titleist rental option.
  6. Wow what a beautiful course!

I played Quivira, the Dunes and El Cardonal in April of 2018. All very nice courses. I liked Quivira best.

Cabo San Lucas Country Club might be the best bargain out there. Just Northeast of the marina, its not ocean front but has some pretty good views. I liked the layout of most holes and the course conditions were very good. Open to the public and discount tee times can sometimes be found on-line.
