New Titleist DT Solo I wanna try because of its' technology and attractive yellow color :)
  2. I would love to try the NXT Tour S. 1) I love softer ball as hard balls felt like hitting a piece of rock. 2) I usually cannot get GIR so usually landing around the green. It would help me to have an effective control around the green. 3) Most yellow balls are distance balls which are rather hard. NXT Tour S is yellow but plays softer. Like !!! 4) Never won in any lucky draw. Maybe Titleist will be my first win. Hopeful ....
  3. I want NXT Tour S. Reason ? Very simple. It helps me to become like a "Pro" with more distance and short game control. Score improve a lot

  7. I would love to have try the Yellow Titleist NXT Tour S, with the low long game ball spin off my Titleist D2 driver and with either the SM4 wedge or short iron, I can now have a soft landing on the green..I can now imagine the Yellow ball flight high into the sun and land next to the pin with some backspin..this is like the Professional.. 8. Used the NXT ball before but never try the NXT-Tour or NXT-Tour S. Expecially the yellow ball looks nice, hope in he future there will have more color balls.

  9. Would love to try the new Velocity ball. Hope it can replace the NXT extreme which I missed very much.

Newbie here. I would love me some NXT Tour-S. I rarely get all jacked up about golf balls.Tried one single ball given to me by a rep and it's awesome! Dare I say it performs quite close to the Pro V1's? Too bad I dunked it in the drink after 4 rounds. All I can say is, great performance, fantastic durability and the extra juice of the tee is always welcomed! Now after all that, any chance of a dozen Tom?

    TY

  19. Yes would definitely try out the NXT Tour S someday especially those bright yellow one. kudos for the wide selection of golf balls available !!!!
  20. I have read that a number of golfers wants Titleist DT Solo. What is the difference between this and NXT Tour S? Both gives longer distance and more accurate drives and long iron shots, and both helps in the short games. I note that DT Solo is slightly cheaper than NXT Tour S. Hmmm, I wish I could have a dozen of DT Solo (yellow, if possible) to try. Many thanks and wish me luck!!!

    Hi Keong C,

Thanks for your question and good luck with the competition. To get back to you re the difference between the NXT Tour S and the DT SoLo, the main difference is in the cover and amount of spin the golf balls generate because of it. The NXT Tour S has the same cover as the NXT Tour, a high spinning Fusablend cover that will provide fantastic shot stopping ability when it comes to shots coming into the green. You will find the DT SoLo will not stop as fast and will more likely generate more roll on these shots into the green. If you value your short game and the shot's being played into the green more, then the NXT Tour S is probably a good option for you. If, however, you are looking for a low spinning golf ball that may stay slightly straighter in the air with your longer shots, then the DT SoLo may be a good option. Let me know if you have any further questions. Cheers.

I waited, waited and waited for the chance that Titleist would pick up my name and send me a dozen of NXT Tour S but...... Well, I can't stand the temptation anymore and pick up a Titleist NXT Tour last week. I have been playing a ProV1 and I really like the feel and almost all of it except the price. Erver since the single game which cost me 4 of the ProV1 balls, I decided to serch for another ball to replace it. I hope that the NXT Tour will be the one so I decided to make a comparison between the 2 balls. In order to minimize the inconsistant of my swing, I play both of the ball side by side. I start off with the driver then the hybrid, iron, wedge and finally the most important part of my game, the putting. Here is my rating (5 being the best score, 1 being the worst)

    ProV1 vs NXT Tour

Driver Distance - 4.5 : 4.5 (distance is almost identical)

Driver ball flight - 4.5 : 4.5 (ProV1 ball flight has better carry compare to NXT has more roll)

    Hybrid - 4.5 : 4.5 (Both play almost identical)

Iron - 4.5 : 4.0 (I prefer the ball flight of ProV1 more but the impact sound of NXT is great)

Wedge - 4.5 : 4.5 (seriously I don't feel any different in both ball performance in this area)

Putter - 5.0 : 4.5 (I need a little getting used to the NXT Tour feel, I still prefer the ProV1)

Now I heard that the NXT Tour S is softer than the NXT Tour...... I am going to give Titleist the last chance to send me the NXT Tour S..... If NOT, I am going.................to buy it lor :(
