    Current set up is:
    50/8 F
    54/8 M
    58/12 K

They get replaced as needed or when I start seeing excessive wear.

I currently have the ap1 pw, 48 sm6 with 8 degress bounce, a 52 sm6 with 12 degrees of bounce, and a 58 sm5 with 4 degrees of bounce. The sm6 wedges are both F grind and the sm5 is a L grind, and I love them. Would like to get a sm6 in a 58 but I stamped my name on the 58 and it looks cool.

  3. Thanks for the wedge tips!
I am not able to replace them nearly as much as I should. currently I carry a 47degree pitching wedge, 50, 56, and 60.

    SM6 56* 08 M grind

I have an opening for a 60* wedge to be filled soon probably another M grind. I switch mine about every other year which ends up being about what is recommended by the vokey video for how much I play.

    PW - 714 AP2
    GW - SM6 50.08 F
    SW - SM6 56.10 S (bent to 55)
    LW - SM6 60.04 L

This is my second season on these wedges. Grooves look great! I play 50-60 rounds a year; but I practice almost every weekend. I had a set of SM5's, which I liked, but I really liked the Progressive Center of Gravity on the SM6's, so I upgraded.
  12. Over the winter, picked up 3 new, SM6 Vokey wedges.
    Respective degrees, bounce, and grinds:
    48/08/F, 54/10/S, 60/04/L
Did not take trade in, as I keep the old wedges to practice sand shots, where the club doesn't touch the ball, anyway, unless one is trying to put heavy backspin, on the ball. This helps keep replacement times longer - important, for those of us who are not pros, and don't get free replacements, every few weeks.

Hi Abby! I have 4 wedges in my bag.

    714 AP2 PW - 46*
    714 AP2 G@ - 50*
    Vokey SM5 56.14 bent to 55*
    Vokey SM5 60.4

I like the AP2 50* as I use it mostly for full swings and its bounce is between those of my Vokeys. The 56.14 comes in handy on soft, damp conditions and the 60.4 is great from the firm conditions. I can also open the face on the 60 giving it a touch more bounce for my bunker play. So I think I have my wedges ready for what ever condition the course is in. I was fitted when the SM5's first came out but now I am past due for new ones!

  15. SM6 52.08 F grind @ +1 degree
    SM6 60.04 L grind flat
It's been my 2 wedge setup since about 1994. At a 1.9 handicap it works for me just fine.

Here's my SM6 set up. These are new this spring. Due to some health issues I have not been able to play much the last several years. I will keep my older Vokeys that don't have much wear for practice. I would guess I won't make 75 rounds this year so should be able to get at least a couple seasons out of the new SM6's!

I typically switch out my wedges entirely every other year. Really depends on condition of wedge if it happens earlier. I use the 60 degree a lot so that tends to need replacement sooner that the others.

    Currently I have the following:
    SM6 50.08 using the PX 6.0 1/2" over
SM6 56.08 (1 degree strong) Rifle Spinner (older shaft I had uncut in garage)
    SM6 60.04 Rifle Spinner

I had S300's in my SM4 & SM5 (60.04) and am still getting feel for the new shafts but like response of spinners...
