The Players' Choice at the Arnold Palmer Invitational

The official equipment counts from this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational are in - and the numbers are convincing.

Of the 123 players competing at Bay Hill Country Club this week, 84 are trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, six times the nearest competitor with 14.

Titleist is also the top choice in the driver category, with 32 Titleist models in play. Of those Titleist drivers, 27 were TS models (TS2 - 7 | TS3 - 20).

Titleist is also the #1 choice among players in hybrids (17) and irons (30). Vokey Design Wedges also topped the approach, sand and lob wedge category with 1497 Vokey models in play.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Rafa Cabrera Bello (Pro V1x) came out firing on all cylinders on Thursday, opening with a 7-under-par 65 to assume the lead after Round 1.

One of the most low-key hole-in-one celebrations you’ll ever see from Pro V1x loyalist D.A. Points. As D.A. tweeted, “For the record I miss hit my 6 iron off the toe. I was begging for it to get over the bunker. It did and rolled in. Completely lucky and I am grateful for it! Haven’t had much luck recently, sign of good things to come.”

Joel Dahmen (Pro V1) and his caddie got the competitive juices flowing during a no-holds-barred round of mini golf at the start of the week in Orlando.

A great start from Bubba Watson (New Pro V1x Yellow) led to an even-par round of 72. Bubba currently sits tied for sixth.

The biggest move on Friday came from Pro V1x loyalist Tommy Fleetwood, who followed up an opening-round 69 with a 6-under 66 effort. Tommy now sits at the top of the leaderboard heading into weekend action.

Enjoy the rest of the action this weekend and good luck to all of #TeamTitleist this week Bay Hill!
