We had two groups of 5 playing Saturday, October 13 at The Peninsula Club in Cornelius, NC. We started on the back 9. Nice drive on 18 to 213 yards from the pin. 193 yards to carry the water. We were playing for 3 net best against the other fivesome's 3 net best and it had been a pretty good first 8 holes for us. With the rest of the team in good shape, I pulled the 3 wood. What a delight to see it carry the water and roll to the cup. I guess the luck was there with my ProV1, Titlest Hat, and new Footjoy shoes. The ball and scorecard are soon to be mounted.
