If you cut any shaft down an inch, it will drastically throw off the swing weight. If you haven't noticed that, then you likely won't have a problem with it.

Club builders can add butt weights or heavier grips to counter balance the the club head…

The 3W is typically 10g heavier than your driver. Having a 60G instead of a 70G will throw your swing weight way off and you'll need to add more weight to the club head.

Return it and get what you're supposed to have received.

Love my squareback. Started with a blade, played a mallet for 5 years, and think I found the in between with the square back. I like the athleticism it gives me on long putts/fringe putts but I’m still struggling to dial in a consistent 8-12ft stroke
