I was playing the TA7 irons as well until last year - then switched to the CB 710's great distance and control. (up for sale actually). They tremendously improved my game, so much that I just purchased the MB 710s last week. I had the CB's fit with shafts…

The 910 driver and fairway shafts can be interchanged.  The tipping can be slightly different for the fairway vs the driver shaft and the swingweight will be very light, but it can be done.
