At 46" will the shaft not play a lot softer to flex than a stock 45" which is trimed?Hence longer shaft is harder to control on two fronts : more flex and longer shaft is harder to square the clubface?

I get all the stopping power I need from ProV1, I don't have a problem with shredding the cover, I also use v groove wedge.

I know it doesn't make any difference to the pros, but are they saying anything about the covers shredding?
