I'm 71 years old and playing the SummerGlen GC modified Stableford league in Ocala, FL and got my first ace on the 13th hole, 136 yards with my pitching wedge and a titleist Pro V1.
I really enjoy Dave's tips as well. He makes these shots seem effortless and not complicated to execute.
This was my first hole in one. I thought it rolled by the hole playing partner said it's in the hole. Happy Day!!

I may be out of your league at age 70 and a 15 hcp. and high ball speed. I have the AP1, stock stiff graphite shaft, flat, 1 inch +.
