Only custom orders have the head etched with a serial number - any stock product will have the holographic sticker. It could be that the sticker was simply removed as someone picked at it.

Amen. Being left-handed is it's own challenge. The Advanced Center at Cherokee in Madison really improved my iron game from the G10 and Cobra SZ irons I had used from off the rack. Happened to AP1s as well.
