• RE: Vokey Gap vs. Set Gap

I had the set GW with my 718 AP1s which was ok, wasn't a huge fan, but I refer to the T200 GW in my bag as the "shank wedge". I can never quite seem to get a consistent ball flight. Most are way lower than I'd like and often pulls to the left. If it…
  • Ace & Age

My third ace total. First on this hole #7 140yds uphill using a 6iron(T200). I am 72 and shot an even par 70 on that day.

  • RE: Scotty?

They’re pretty adamant that they don’t accept putters with modifications from an original. Not sure if that includes non-SC grips, but anything else is rejected. Including a lack of a shaft.
  • Hole In One and Albatross - SAME ROUND!

Hole #8 in Hawley MN, I hit a hybrid from 193 yards playing the blue tees to accomplish my first hole in one. Later that evening on Hole #14, my second shot on a par 5 from 268 yards, using a 3 wood went in for my first albatross! Same night, same round…

I shot my age (72) for the first time on June 23, 2023. I was playing Mountainbrook Golf Course in Gold Canyon, Arizona. 6 days later (June 29), and playing Mountainbrook again, I aced the 7th hole. It was 133 yards with my pitching wedge. There were…

  • RE: Traveling with Clubs

I, too, use the Club Glove Collegiate. Fly with my clubs 4-5x per year. I remove all wood heads and carry them in their headcovers in my carryon. I fill the top of the bag with towels and such.
  • RE: Vokey Design- Full Irons Sets

Like a putter, a wedge is a specialized more individualized club. His wedges are very fine tuned and he is a master at his skill. I think the current line up of Titleist clubs, Vokey Wedges and Scotty Cameron putters works very well for consumers and…
  • RE: Worn out club numbers

Have used oil based Sharpie pens from Hobby shops with success in the past.
  • RE: Lengthen Putter, need to add Weight?

As noted, to maintain a proper swingweight you will want to reduce the weight in the longer setup. Get some 5 gram weights and you will be ok.
