Another Scotty Cameron NOLA Weekend!

Thanks to Andrew Cahoon and his wonderful wife Susan the annual spring ritual of the Scotty Cameron NOLA outing was another success at TPC Louisiana right before the Zurich PGA Tour Event.
Its always fun trying different putters and exchanging stories…

To clarify wedges in the 52 range begin at around D2-D3 historically, the 58 is around D3-D4. When you start subtracting or adding length (could not tell what =1" meant?) and adding midsize grips the swingweights go all over the place up and down...…

Wow, lots of variables in this thread....essentially when you cut a putter down two inches that alot of swing weight points lost, but adding sole weights with more weights help get you back to normal. I have used back end weights in the grip before with…

I would not waste my time playing irons I am not comfortable with. Also, personally, I would do every fitting outside if possible. Numbers are one thing, but I like seeing the ball in the air, and how it goes through the turf.

What happens to a shaft that you shorten which in turn stiffens it then you add the extra weight that you need for swingweight .Does it make the shaft more flexible?

It's always a good idea to consider options as there is often more than one way to play a shot. And, remember that getting the ball up and in only requires that one of the shots be particularly distinguished!
