• 171 8 Iron

River Strand Golf & Country Club Sanctuary #7 "Masked Bandits"

It was a windy day, the hole was playing 171 yards with a slightly hurting right to left wind. I set up for a baby cut 8 iron to negate the right to left wind. Perfect contact…

  • Footjoy MyJoys

    Good day all,

I clean my clubs after every round with warm soapy water and clean the shafts with some gt85 on a rag

This was my 8th ace and second on this hole. Have made Acheson all 4 of the par 3s on this course.

  • RE: Putters

I look for how the club feels in my hands weight wise. I do like having a milled face as well as it helps with distance control.
  • RE: Can a fitting help a beginner golfer?

Yes learn the game from a PGA professional! They will help you with the swing basics and give you advice for when to get fitted. I’m a big fan of getting fitted at the right time and yes by a titleist fitter! Most importantly enjoy the game!!
