Unless you feel the fitting wasn't successful, I'm not sure why you would change. It seems like an expensive decision for something that may not even provide a half of a stroke difference in the end. It does seem that the lofts wouldn't overlap through adjustment.

The Titleist fitters are pretty darn good. I'm sure they would have thought of the same thing you are before they put you in what they did. If it worked, don't screw with it. It would be like being lost and asking for directions and when you get them, saying wouldn't this be a better way to go?

Key question I would have is what's your current driver launching at? You should be between 11-14 degrees ultimately. With the lower spinning 917, these conditions will max your carry. Good luck. I've found the most influence on launch angle is the person swinging, so once you get that launch angle right, the 9.5 head with adjusting should do the trick.

sounds like you would have more options with the 10.5 with the 9.5 set at a4 you can't go any higher

Thank you all for your help. I decided to go with what I was fitted for (9.5*). After all, the numbers were where they should be so why change it? I think I am overthinking it, where I just need to trust the fitter and the numbers and go play! Another thing I realized is that I was getting the desired numbers at A-4 (11*), and I can't get that same loft with a 10.5* head (first loft setting up on it is 11.25*). And finally, my swing speed was above 100 and with the flight of the 11*, I don't really see myself going higher than that. Thanks again guys.
