Thanks for the reminders Mitch! I went in last week and placed a special order of the new Pro V1x golf balls with one of my favourite numbers and a personalised saying on one-side.

I keep doing the math every year and I really don't know why I do that, but regardless, the cost of the Pro V1s and Pro V1x's (and I suppose the same is now true of the AVX) is greatly reduced when I get the "3 for 4 dozen" golf balls. The personalized Pro V1xs are $4.50 per golf ball where as without the "Loyalty Rewarded" promotion, and with regular, off of the shelf golf balls, they would cost $5.17 per ball before tax.

Forgive me if my memory on the pricing is not 100% spot on -- I'm doing this by memory rather than having looked up that actual prices with Golf Town, etc. :-)
