How will the fitter go about determining what shaft is best for my swing. Will the swing tests be done with a 910D3 that is adjustable and of the same head weight as my 909D3? I'm sure the tester doesn't have 50 different 909D3 drivers sitting there with different shafts on them and I know that he's not going to mount my drivers head on different shafts until we hit on the perfect match.

So once the launch monitor finds my spin rate and launch angle there should be several different shafts to then choose upon. Correct? How then will the final determination be made. Will it be, "try this one out, see how it does, if you don't like it, bring it back and we can try another"?!

How will the fitter find the right shaft for my 909D3 driver?

Unfortunately, our Fitting Centers may no longer carry their 909 fitting equipment since the new 910 fitting equipment has been out for over a year.  If one of our Fitting Centers happens to have the 909 fitting equipment, then they would have a few different models/loft heads with all interchangeable shafts.  This is how our Fitters are able to figure out what shaft/head combination will work best for each player.  You may try to consider trying different shafts in the 910 fitting equipment if that is your only choice.  This Fitter will be able to explain the benefits of each shaft and how they will react to your ball flight.  The spin/launch numbers may be a little different from your 909, since some of the head characteristics have changed, but the swing weights will be the same.
