I am a 32 year old female; former college golfer; took a 7 year break from the game and just started playing again last spring and am in the market for new clubs (my DCIs are 15+ years old!). I carry a 6 handicap, and play 2-3 times a week; I know for certain I want to stick with Titleist Irons - I'm leaning toward the AP2s or CBs. I have had a hard time at golf shops getting a fitter to take me seriously. I have a lot of questions about shafts and lofts on my clubs. I'm willing to spend money for a proper fitting, and I know there are some good places in my area, but before I go, I would like to have a little more knowledge - and particularly know what
specific questions I should be asking, or what I should be looking for. It seems like there is a lot of information out there....any advice/guidance would be much appreciated!

    Thanks, Becca

Becca-- I was lucky enough to take my my daughter out to Oceanside for side-by-side fittings. I got a new driver and she got new AP1s and a matching 910 hybrid. I can tell you that if you live in Southern CA or MA or have another reason to go to either location a fitting at one of the "Mother Ships" is an amazing experience. Good luck. JAC

    Becca,

Im sure Cathi from titleist sent you some  locations in your area. More specifically here is what you should be asking, looking for...The fitting should be conducted without concern for man, women, junior.... It should be based on your skill and ball speed. A legitimate fitting will be conducted outdoors hitting from grass, using a launch monitor and preferrably Titlieist Pro V 1 golf balls.  Ask your fitter if all these things are available. If not, keep looking.
your fitter should have a full capacity cart capable of fitting you for your irons, hybrids and fairway metals. They should also have the full compliment of Vokey wedges.

Any more questions feel free to call me direct -- 405-842-2626. I am in Oklahoma.  Ballgolf.com
