The Ahina will have a different feel than the Pro Force, smoother, with same low launch and spin characterisitics. Depending upon tipping of your Pro Force, if it is different than standard, the Ahina if tipped an additional 1/2" would play exactly as true Diamana shafts. Another shaft to consider would be project X, i the 83 gram version. Very smooth feel, low launch and spin. I have it in a 910D3 7.5 and love it compared to others. It is very similar in flight to both Ahina and pro Force but better feel, not a boardy, even if quick transition tempo. The good thing about the 910 series is that shafts are readily available with tips from authorized dealers, and are reasonable priced. good luck in your ventures.

You could always use your friends driver and compare yours against his.

My friend lives on the west coast so I can't really hit it but I think I'll pull the trigger on it because I've read the reviews on the MFT ahina along with the D3 and I'm loving what I'm hearing.

I currently have the Ahina Whiteboard on my Driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. I absolute love it! Overall the flex point is more towards the middle to lower end of the shaft, so with your quick tempo you dont have to worry about the shaft spinning or flipping over too quickly. At first with the heavier shaft if may seem odd, but once you get use to it, it really makes the swing smoother and easier to get it into the air.

I use to be stuck on the Proforce V2. Great shaft. If you are a big fan of it and want to try a heavier shaft, give the Proforce V2 86x a try. Personally, as a past user of the V2 I was not a fan of the MFT Ahina. I know a lot of people who have tipped it and love that shaft. Just give them both a shot, see which you like better.

So i hit the ahina this weekend. saturday i hit it at the range and was messing around with the settings and D-1 seemed to keep the ball flight down and let me hit a nice little fade every time. The shaft though did feel a little soft to me. I hit a couple of balls that went a little too high for my liking. I'm seriously considering tipping it so it plays like a real ahina because when I played 18 holes today I had to tee the ball low in order for it to not get too high on me. Question is, Do i tip it an inch or 1/2 an inch? Mine right now plays at 45 inches and I don't mind tipping it half an inch because I won't lose that much distance but a whole inch seems not even worth it.  My local golf course has a certified titleist fitter and I talked to him and said that the Titleist ferrule and tipping will cost me about $35 which isn't much to me. Thanks again this place is great for getting advice from fellow Titleist weekenders.

Played my 910D3 this weekend. Took it to the range on saturday and at first it was hard to keep the launch down, I teed the ball up a little lower and that brought it down to my usual launch. It's really a smooth shaft, never felt boardy. With all that said I'm thinking about tipping it so it can play like the real ahina but how much will that bring the launch down? I took it to the course on sunday and surprisingly enough I got more distance than my 909D3. It's a great driver and I love it but I had a hard time controlling it. But before I do tip it, I would like to get at least one more range session with it before I decide on that. So I wanted to ask do I tip it half an inch or a full inch for it to play like the real ahina? I heard it both on here and on another forum. Thanks

Tipping the shaft 1/2 inch would make it similar to "real" Ahina and keep shaft true to flex.
