So I am about to order this new Fairway wood from Titleist, but I have a question or two you maybe could help me with.
I had the 910F 13.5° with a 83 grams 6.5 Project X Blue Graphite Tour Issue. I liked the launch, but my miss hits were big high cuts or big high fades starting to the right and spun even further out (I'm right handed). Specially from tee and tight/hard fairways I had a chance for hitting those high cuts that spins with a million RPM, but when I hit it good I really liked the launch, spin and flight a lot.
So could you tell me if there is a stock options out there, there is similar to the 6.5 PX Tour Issue, so I can avoid the high cut/fades lost in the right side? Since my miss hits were high cuts or fades it can, maybe the shaft was too stiff, and I sometimes felt that as well, but I tried a 3-wood with a Project X 6.0 (not Tour Issue if that has something to tell) and I could easily hit a draw with that, even too big sometimes, so that told me that maybe that shaft was too soft? Hmm. So a softer feeling X-Stiff shaft would be perfect, and maybe the S+ Blue 72 was an option? Or maybe a 6.0 PX Tour Issue?
Any thoughts?
Should I get it in 13.5° or 15°? I've thought about it...
With 15° I can lower it to 14.25° in D•1 but with the 13.5° I can get it to 15° if I want in A•4. And I don't need higher loft than 15° since I got a 18° Hybrid. So maybe 13.5° would be the best fit for me?
Why do you want to pick a 13.5° over a 15° Fairway?
Last but not least. Is the difference between the F and Fd really that big? Is the Fd hard to hit from the turf? I have always been suggested the F and I have never really considered the Fd version, but maybe I should give it a go?
Can you help me with these questions?
Much appreciated.
