Advice on flex

    I have project x 5.5 in my AP2 irons and I'm not getting a lot of distance out of my irons, 7 iron goes about 145. I recently hit a launch monitor and my ball speed average was 115. I have two questions: 1. With a 115 ball speed is my swing speed is 80? 2. I was thinking of getting project x flighted. Should I go with 5.0 instead of 5.5?

    Go ahead and try the 5.0 flighted shaft and see how you like it. I play the 5.5 shafts and they work great for my 105 mph swing speed. It could be ball striking too but an 80 mph swing speed seems a little slow for 5.5 shafts.

    Thanks Bret. I ordered the new project x 95 flighted 5.0. I do take a divot with my hits but could strike better. The 5.5's came with the set but I'm excited for the new shafts. Thanks again
