714 AP2 fitting at the Oceanside facility

    Finally made it out to the oceanside facility today for my first real fitting experience.  Super excited but little bit anxious because of my unfamiliarity with the whole fitting process but my fitter Kurt was great and made the process enjoyable and comfortable. I was there for the Iron/hybrid fitting and Kurt helped me narrow it down to the ideal shaft and spec for my current swing.

    I must say the facility was amazing, people were nice, fitting process great, and the new 714 AP2s  were AWESOME.

    I just don't know how i'm going to be able to wait an entire month.

    Nice picture - glad you enjoyed the fitting!  What did you end up getting fit into?

    I ended up getting fit into AP2s dynamic gold SL S300, 1 inch over, 1 degree upright.

    Matter of fact, i just placed an order this morning and probably start checking the days off until the arrival in November.

    May be titleist will make a mistake and ship those out early to me? :)

    Congrats. I've heard that is quite the experience. Wish I was a "west coast" resident and could take advantage. A lot of disadvantages living in Michigan but what ya gonna do?

    Hope you get them sooner than later.

    I have been fitted by Kurt before.  He is a short game wizard!  If you have the chance to get him to show you some of his short game magic, take full advantage!  Happy fitting!

    I just did the Iron/Hybrid. My heart was pretty set on getting AP2s so I mainly tested out AP2s. Driver fitting would've been pretty nice too but i already have 913 d2s which i'm pretty happy with.

    If you're doing the total package fitting, i suggest you eat drink and stretch a lot before. I was getting tired even just with the iron fitting.  One thing i really appreciated was that I never felt rushed in terms of time.

    After figuring out the right AP2 specs for me, i briefly checked out CBs MBs and 712U.  Those all felt amazing even at my level (9 handi), but on a good swing. 

    I guess the question for me was would i be able to produce good swing on a pretty consistent basis.  I felt like a weekend golfer like me would definitely use some forgiveness of AP2s compared to CBs and MBs.
