Is it possible to have my driver which is 44.5 long shortened another 1/2"- My golf shop recommended having the shaft reworked so as not to move the flex point. It started out as a 45" rip phenom stiff 60 .

Yes, you can shorten it another 1/2" from the butt end. Not sure what "reworked" means, but there is enough length in the butt end of the shaft to cut it a total of 1" . You will lose about 2-3 swingweights and should have a heavier bezel weight put into the head (if possible) to adjust for the swingweight.
By reworked i meant start with a new shaft so the kick point doesnt change. I guess they would take it from both ends. If i took it off existing shaft what weight would you reccomend. currently is the red dot which i think is 9g. Just so you have a backround on my problem all my clubs manchester fitted me for i`ve been hitting great but i can`t seem to get consistent with my driver. The only time i hit it good is if i swing about 60% and it will go about 230yds. The problem is i hit my 913fd 250yds and my 913h 220 - so i`m kinda stumped. If i emailed you my specs from manchester lane do you think it would help. I`d love for my driver to feel exactly like my 15* 913fd.
Hi Ryan, I forwarded your note to your fitter, so you should be hearing from them shortly.
