Custom Fairway wood shafts

    Nick, on 6/1/10 (Heavy Fairway wood shafts) I asked about the Zcom pro 95 in the 909 F3 fairway, also mentioned the Rombax 8Z08. You replied the Zcom 95 is no longer available however we could custom order the 8Z08 stiff in the 909 F3. After speaking today with customer service rep he said I can't get the 8z08 only the 7z08 shaft? I'm willing to pay the upcharge and don't understand why titleist custom clubs wouldn't install 8z08 in fairway, as im sure thinking i'm not the only person requesting 85+ grams in the fairway wood with a preference towards fujikura. Would you be able to look into this for me? Thanks

    Hi Matt - 

    The 6X07 and 7Z08 are the two Rombax options that we have for the 909 Fairways.  However, upon special request from the account we should be able to order 8Z08 which is on an approved shaft list for Titleist product but does not show up as an available request on our website or shaft booklet.  If you would like to place an order for a 909 fairway with this shaft please have your account make a special request with our Customer Service Department when placing the order.

    Since you're on the topic of special custom orders, can you check to see if the Diamana 'Ilima is on the approved shaft list and if so, the cost of the upcharge. Thanks.

    When the new 910 fairways launch, I'd like to order one with a Rombax 7W06, which I do not see as an option on the custom shaft chart. Would you recommend that I call customer service similar to Matt's question?
