    Edmonton,

    To whom it may concern;

    I need advise on the 718 AP2 irons. I would like to know if these irons could be adjusted for loft. When I bought them last year , I did have all the irons and wedges adjusted 2 degrees flat. I’m currently taking lessons on a regular basis. We are working in swing path as well as shallowing my swing path to be more consistent when striking the ball. I’m possibly looking at maybe adjusting the lofts on the irons to maybe closer to what the AP3 have for lofts . If I decided to do that; I don’t won’t purchase new irons . Any and all advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks and please advise. Marc J

  2. Marc although that is definitely doable, remember that creating stronger lofts will have an effect on the designed bounce of the your AP 2's which will have an effect on how the club interacts with the turf. Your fitter should be able to advise you on that.

    Titleist recommends limiting loft/lie adjustments to +/- 2 degrees. These clubs are different designs. Adjusting the loft to AP3 won’t make them just like the AP3. Most limit adjusting lofts where changing from iron to hybrid or to wedge for consistent gapping through the set. TUser is correct that this will affect the bounce and how all the clubs feel if you do all of them

    Any amount of +/- degree of loft will also change +/- amount of bounce.
