I was fit for t300 irons and SM9 wedges this past spring. With some lessons and lots of practice, I am now hitting the ball so much better than last spring - better contact, path, face control, attack angle and consistency. I enjoy the t300 but am starting to wonder how quickly i might be outgrowing them and be better suited to the t200 or t100? Part of what made me think of this is how much more I like the feel of my forged SM9 than the t300. Maybe wedges are just that much easier to pure though?

    Thanks!

Feel is very important in golf. There is nothing quite like the feel of a well struck iron shot from a forged blade when in contact with the sweet spot. There is also nothing quite like the feel and results of an off center strike with a forged blade. Everyone has to decide which is most important and where they are in their golf swing ability. We can't answer that for you, it is a personal choice on what you value most and how you hit your shots. I personally am getting up there in age and physical ability to spend lots of time refining my swing is problematic so I choose to utilize a forgiving iron (T300) over the blades (T-MB) I used in the past. Good luck in your decision and continued success in enjoying this great game.

Like Dale, have gotten up there in age and need more forgiveness and play T300s (5-W), love them but carry the SM9 52.08F and 56.10S wedges. It is all about feel. If you are scoring well enjoy your success. Golf should be fun not a struggle. =)
