  1. Wondering if anyone could give me some insight. I recently went for a club fitting and it was a so so experience. They were right about to have a demo sale so there shaft and head selection was not up to par. I was able to find a shaft that works great for me, Denali red 50 5.5. I was expecting to land on gt2 and it was great, I asked the fitting if I could try the gt1 just to try as he did not even metion it, I hit it with the tensei 1k black and that shaft is not for me but the gt1 head felt amazing. I struggle with finding fairways and I couldn’t miss with that thing. I wasn’t able to try it with the Denali red shaft unfortunately so I am sort of left on a cliff hanger. Do I go gt1 or gt2?

??? All the fitting shafts for drivers are interchangeable with all Titleist drivers (since the 910 came out in 2009). If you try it in a GT2, that shift would fit a GT1.

I’m up in years and barely able to crack 80 mph driver head speed. I had gotten a TSR-2 when first released prior to the TSR-1 was released. I’ve lost a few mph since late 2021. The TSR-2 shaft was a HZDOUS Red counter balanced shaft. Knowing the TSR-2 was no longer a good fit, I was fit for the GT-1 with the Air Speeder shaft this spring. We did try 3 different shafts along the way but the Air Speeder was best for me. Even putting that shaft in the TSR still did not get the same results After adding 4 g of lead tape to the GT-1 head to better feel the head, my dispersion is good and I’m satisfied with launch angle and height. Best fit I’ve had in years.

Sounds like you might need a fitter to give you better options. Buying a demo is not a deal if it isn’t the best fit for your swing.
