  1. Greetings Team Titleist! I posted these photos in Dale V's posting about the origin of "DT", as well as in the FootJoy Community. No luck on the dates, so I thought I would give it a shot in a thread here.

Could anyone date these golf balls for me? I am working on a Titleist ball timeline display, these three are part of the jumping off point... I don't imagine it is realistic to find one of each, but I am sure there is a wealth of knowledge among Team Titleist on the subject.

Any information on this timeline is greatly appreciated! I cannot find a complete list of Titleist golf ball releases anywhere. Hope all of you have a wonderful week!

    Sam, try www.golfmagic.com/.../20817

Looks like your Titleist 384 came out in 1983.
  3. Great information Dale. Thank you very much for sharing! This will bring me a bit closer for sure.

Sam, I just posted to your note on this on the FJ forum. In that thread, you wondered how performance compares to the newer balls. I'm sure that someone in the testing portion of Titleist has lots of data on the performance of the various balls through the years. Perhaps they can provide you some comparisons in that area, as well. Just FYI: I have a set with one of each of the Pro-V1's since that line began, sorted and boxed separately. Trying to keep up with it as the new balls are released.

Very nice! Sounds like we have a similar interest in the subject. I really need a good friend who works for Titleist... haha
